Automne et féminité : renouer avec soi

Autumn and femininity: reconnecting with oneself

A woman's inner vitality depends deeply on:

  • his self-esteem,

  • of its brilliance,

  • of the balance of her hormonal system.

It also relies on its strength to adapt to life's challenges, and on its ability to listen to the rhythms of nature to gather its treasures.

Women have always understood the importance of taking care of their bodies according to the seasons , because it is the temple of their soul.

Discipline in care, in every daily practice, opens the connection with her infinity, and with the essential power she carries as a woman.

Autumn: a season of reflection, of returning to oneself

Autumn is the season of reflection, of returning to oneself, the season when darkness takes precedence over light.
Nature is slowly declining to protect itself. Let us observe this wisdom in our times of transformation.

Like nature, we turn inward . We feel the need for strength, firmness, and accuracy, in order to then get through the cold of winter.

The effects of the autumn transition on the body and hormones

Our body is weakened:

  • This affects the hormonal systems .

  • the circulatory systems,

  • digestive functions,
    which need to readjust.

This transition requires kindness and self-awareness .
Now is the time to take care not only of your body, but also of your inner self – mental and emotional.

A breathing exercise to support the hormonal cycle

I suggest a simple but powerful pranayama/kundalini breathing exercise for:

  • to regulate the menstrual cycle,

  • balance the hormonal glandular system (stimulate the pituitary gland , the pineal gland ),

  • to lessen negative thoughts, to open up to a luminous radiance .

🌸 Sit in an easy posture with your spine straight. Your wrists will rest gently on your knees, palms facing upwards.

🌸 Breathing and mantra: Inhale through your nose with a four-count segmented breath, press your index finger against your thumb on the first count while mentally vibrating SĀ on the first count of inhalation

🌸 Press your middle finger against your thumb on the second beat while mentally vibrating TĀ on the second beat of inhalation.

🌸  Press the ring finger against the thumb on the third beat while mentally vibrating NĀ on the third beat of inhalation.

🌸 Press your little finger against your thumb on the fourth beat while mentally vibrating MĀ on the fourth beat of inhalation.

🌸 Expires in one long, continuous line.

The rhythm will be eight beats, four fragmented beats for inhalation and four continuous beats for exhalation.

To help you concentrate, close your eyes and start by practicing for three minutes every day.

You will increase the duration by one minute until you reach seven minutes, and you will practice seven minutes every day before.

If that's easy for you, you can go up to 31 minutes.

🌸  Practical: This short 21-day yoga retreat.

Gentle companions for autumn

🌿🌱🍃 Drink a feminine herbal tea during this period, three cups a day in a moment of calm.

📝 Place a small notebook and a pencil near your practice area: note the progress, the effects of breathing on your body and mind.

I teach Kundalini yoga, a practice that gives a prominent place to women's relationship with the cycles of nature .
